At the present time, 10 wolf dogs live in pens that range in size from 280 by 40 feet,92 by 76 feet, 50 by 50 feet, 62 by 48 and a quarantine kennel 12 by 6 feet. Two of the animals have temperaments that prevent them from mingling with the other wolf dogs. Thus, they reside in the bigger pen. Several times a week, most of the animals are released into the fenced area at different times and in various group sizes, to play, dig and sniff for one to three hours. In the morning and late afternoon, feedings are provided by the organization’s founder, Sam Blake (and until last June, his deceased partner, Janine). At the moment, Sam pays the monthly food and vet bills of about of $385.This letter is asking for your help. All donated money is used to pay the above expenses.
